The Memorial Fountain remembers the 75 souls lost on November 14, 1970 in the worst air disaster in American sports history. Located near the center of Marshall's Huntington campus, the fountain goes silent each November 14th, but renews itself on the first day of Spring. This detailed sculpture from Ridgewood Collectibles stands 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 7 3/4". Each of the 75 spires on the original fountain is recreated by this sculpture. Hand-painted and limited to 500 pieces. Note: This is not a working fountain and does not contain water. The sculptors use acrylics and resin to create the water effect.
